Does anyone need a suggestion for a groomscake?

This is oddly disgusting, yet so facinating!!!

So my friend and I are avid cake decorator's and I am always on the look out for a new cake to duplicate, whether it is the recipe or the design etc.  I came across this cake today and my jaw dropped.  Not because of the design.  It is very simple.  But check out the ingredients.  I have everything at home that I need already!!!  I seriously think I will be making this one very soon!

While this cake doesn't look really pretty, I was intrigued about how many people had heard of this cake so I googled it.  Martha stewart actually made a cake like this and of course, it was beautiful!!!!!

I haven't tried to make the cake myself because my friends and family all said that they would not eat it no matter what!!!

My friend did show her fiance and he is now trying to convince her that it would be PERFECT for their wedding!  So far, she hs not relented!
