Do you have what it takes to.....

Build a foundation for influence before you need it.  This is how you know if you have the power to influence others.

    1. Do what you can do to help others out.
    2. Treat people respectfully even if you disagree with or don't particularly want to be around them.  (That means every person you meet.)
    3. Build a reputation of integrity - be genuine, follow through on your word all the time.
    4. Be respectful and supportive of others' ideas - if you disagree, do so respectfully.
    5. Show you are credible by knowing what you're talking about.  Keep learning and increasing in knowledge.
