Haiku vacation rental on Maui's northshore.
I just finished remodeling our cottage and as of December 2015 we are a legal B&B in Haiku Maui. My wife and I spent four months remodeling adding new wood floors, granite counter tops, demo the bath added a walk in shower. It was a lot of work, but as we finished and walked out, our first guest from Switzerland check in.
So far our little getaway has been a success. We are booked into March. I think people are looking for something different than the hotel experience. With our B&B in Haiku, it's really a tropical experience living in the country.
We are located on the northshore of Maui. Haiku town is the perfect location to spring board all over the island. We live on 2.5 acres, with fruit tree, tropical flowers and palms. We are nestled on the gulch with a stream running at the bottom that is pleasant to listen to. Haiku town offers great places to eat, fitness center, grocery store, and even Nuku's Sushi Bar an island favorite.
We are 10 minutes away from World Famous Jaws.
Windsurfing is really big on Maui. Here I am with my friend Snadra from Switzerland enjoying the afternoon wind. Wind surfing on Maui draws windsurfers from all over the world, we are just 10 minutes away from Hookipa Beach Park. Hookipa is my home surf break, and a world class windsurfing destination.
