Last summer I hosted an educational balloon event for a middle school in Mooresville, NC.  The kids loved it and so did the teachers.  Word got out.   I have been asked to host another event like this for a private christian school in Statesville, NC.    Statesville Christian School, being one of the few private schools we have in our area, heard about the event last year in Mooresville, NC.   They were very interested in how this ties in with the science cirriculum at school and gets the children excited about learning.  We are always happy to give back to the community any way we can, since it is the community that supports our company.  Tarheel Realty II will have its Realtors at the school at 8:00 am on May 16th ready to assemble and help with the balloon.  We expect the be able to start our demonstration by 8:30 and have the elementary and middle school children present for inflation.  I think this will be an excellent opportunity to teach the children not only about heat transfer, but to show them how businesses in a community can pull together.   BB&T has graciously agreed to sponsor the balloon and representatives will be on hand to answer questions.  Watch for more information on this event in the Statesville Record and Landmark.
