Winter Wonderland...

Sitting mesmerized here at my desk, looking out at a wall of white and reaching for a cup of hot coco, I  ponder on the events of the week and what needs to be wrapped up tomorrow.

The snow is pounding heavily as the silver dollar sized flakes have now covered the grass. I shiver with a slight chill.

Its the end of the month and the busiest time when closings tend to rush by in an attempt to beat out the final few days.

Rates edged up today, "do you think they will come back down". "Of course" is my reply. "The pendulim is always swinging." The unknown is whether the rate swing will trend upward.

With a drop in sales volume, low rates have been a tremendous help. What if they ride the inflation wheel and slam into 7% or higher? The kiss of death?

The snow is now sticking to the road... I love snow. I love the "winter wonderland" experience. I simply prefer not to experience it one week before May!

Wow snow storm at the end of April? Crazy! We had snow here only a week ago, but are finally trying to embrace Spring...

It is 75 degrees with a light breeze here.  Its a beautiful day on Cape Cod!

YIKES!  Snow is nice but not at the end of April!  My condolances and hope the sun shines in Idaho soon!

Christina, we always get one last storm but this spring has been record breaking cold/snow.

Heath, a newscaster said today that for Idaho we had light winds (10-20 MPH winds).

Earlene, the sun will shine... maybe by July!

Jeff:

Again, thanks for stopping by my blog. You again have reminded me why I don't live in Montana full time. You'll be on snow alert for another month. I remember a huge snow storm in June in 1995 in Montana that damaged a lot of trees. It' s a good thing you enjoy snow. LOL

Tara, not rates but the actual weather. I don't have high hopes for rates this year (inflation). I am assuming we have seen the best rates for 2008 already. I hope I am wrong though.

Lisa, thanks for visiting. It looks like a few places in the states have been hit with snow lately. Glad to know I am not the only one getting cabin fever!

You must have sent the snow east to Minnesota.  18" on the ground here when I got up this morning. 2-4 more possible.  End of April?  You would never guess it.
