Candace Robinson and friends outdid themselves. I'm sure she will share photos, videos, and a beautifully designed article, but I wanted to share my thoughts:

1.  It was a lot of fun! I got to meet - personally - Candace, Paul, Nick, Mike from Tucson, Shaliesh, Doreen, Callie, and more. There were a ton of people in attendance.

2.  We did have a lot of potential bloggers, and so it was an ongoing Active Rain event. Helping each other to learn.

3.  Jay Thompson was there to share some of his successes, including his recent interview in the Phoenix Magazine. I believe it was March or April issue. A whole spread on him and how successful his blog is at: PhoenixRealEstateGuy.com.

4.  Several of us took pictures, and I'll share some of mine with this post, but I'm looking forward to seeing those of the remainder of the group. I just THREW this together.......no red fonts, nothing, wanted you all to see it right away! ;-)

I am just green with envy, Teri!!!!  For some reason, that plane that Paul said he was coming never showed up in NOLA.  ::tapping foot impatiently:

The big question - who took video????

It was fabulous to meet so many people. What a bunch of nice, smart, fun, professional people!

Lisa - Candace had the video rolling throughout.

Can't wait for the next one! Actually the next one is May 22. I'll be in Rocky Point on that day, but I WILL be at the one after that!

Teri - It's the May issue. Just came out a couple of days ago.

Doreen: yes, it was very cool. I already felt I knew everyone, but this was very special. Thank you to Candace for making it happen.

Lisa, LOL, you are a hoot. Candace had it running the entire time. Can't WAIT (yeah, right) to see it. ;-)

Jay, it was fabulous, meeting you as well. We enjoyed hearing from you and we were hanging on every word, right guys? ;-) Seriously, loved what you shared and what you had to say. I look forward to meeting you again and having you share all of that other good stuff. ;-)

Katerina, it WAS fun! I didn't leave until after 11:30...........None of us seemed at a loss of words.

Mike, I apologize if you saw that I put your name in as Tom. I literally threw this together to make it more timely. ;-)

Teri, Looks like you all had lots of fun.  It is fun to see other photos of people and kind of see the "real" person instead of our same old photos online.

Well aren't we johnny on the spot, Teri?  Kudos on getting this posted so quickly.  Great pictures too!  That guy in the striped shirt looks smart and stuff.  It was great to finally put three dimensional faces to two dimensional faces.  Just a dynamic group of people, let alone bloggers.  Already looking forward to the next event!

Teri,

Gosh I am so bummed I missed it!  I just read Dru Bloomfield's blog regarding the Scottsdale Technology Symposium (I havent learned all there is yet and do not know how to add a link yet!) that is tomorrow and that is where I found out about it, just a little too late!!

I will make sure to try to make it in May!  It probably was great to meet everyone and to share experiences,  interests, etc.  I am new to AR and just think its Great, so it would be great to meet some of the people that help make it Great!

Take Care & Good Luck in '08

Sorry I missed it - I was planning to come and other 'stuff' just got in my way. I will try and make the next one.

Shailesh: it WAS great to meet with you as well - and yes, please feel free to use any of the photos. ;-)

Hi Nick:  it WAS great fun. Thank you for the compliment, I enjoyed having the opportunity to verbally share what little I do know! ;-)

Marti, it was wonderful, and as you can see, we were all smiling big time. ;-)

Audrey, it IS so much fun seeing the fun people we visit on line every day or so.

Cynthia, it's like we already DO know each other - very cool. ;-)

Candace, I personally loved your photo that I took - but replaced it with the one Mike took. ;-) You did an awesome job of pulling this together, and I LOVED your banner........so great! ;-)

Dru, do try and make it next time, you missed a great party.

Kathy, though I like the one of Candace, I need everyone to know that I need to CLEAR whatever they choose to share if it's me! ;-)

Shelli, you did a great job too, and it was wonderful meeting you - and thank you soooooo much! ;-)

Paul, what?????? you didn't get your pictures up yet? WHAT have you to do other than share our day? :-) That guy in the striped shirt does seem kinda smart. And I think he is. ;-)

Sylvie, do try and make it. We may not be able to make them all, but if we try to get together as frequently as we can, we'll enjoy these events even more!

Stephanie, sorry you missed it.......Stuff can get in the way......next time perhaps. ;-)

Missy, very cool and - yes, a bluetooth. I didn't think about it until after these photos since they happened at the very beginning. Hopefully I have not more "things" dangling from my ear in any of the other photos I'm in. ;-) Dalton, who?

Bill, yes, we had a lot of people there. Who knew there were so many of our area on AR....

Jeannette, thank you so much. Great idea to start your own groups.....;-) Ask Candace how she got it started. ;-)

Steve, thank you.......One reason I put them up immediately is to make sure I did so in a timely fashion. That way everyone can be "in the moment."  Please share.......it's great to see what others look like beyond their professional photos. ;-)

I actually just lost the whole thing when my internet went down this morning, Teri.  It was done except for the pictures.  Last time I don't write a post in Word first.  Now how many times have I said that?

Shailesh, I simply cannot believe you didn't take pictures. I know that Mike and Paul and Candace did, so hopefully SOMEONE will share other than me. ;-)

Chrystina, I know, huh? I made them large, so we could all really see what's going on. It is an awesome group here on the Rain! ;-)

Paul, that so sucks. I've done that more times than I care to remember........I've learned to post and save as a draft as I go.......but I've still lost very profound - never again to be "as good" - posts. ;-)  It is soooo frustrating to lose your off the top of your head stuff. Due to time constraints, that's what I typically do...just write off the top of my head, save in draft, and then go back and fix it. ;-)
