It was very pink inside and out. Ms. Peggy Lee the proud owner made a special point of telling us she "loved pink!" Well I do not and it all had to go! Not just the color but the bathrooms the kitchen, exterior walls, flooring, backyard, front wall, everything but the shell basically.
The photos below show the journey of transforming Peggy's Pink Palace into my Mexican Manse.

I do make a grand entrance!
Kitchen demo
Kitchen completed, That is a reflection of my dog-he is NOT in the oven-LOL
Living room and dining room demo, I took this from the dining room standing where the exterior wall was.
Entry courtyard with the stone being set.
This is the morning room off of the kitchen that I added to the house with a gas fireplace for the chilly time of year.
This is one of the "tapestry" floors I designed and had made out of cantera stone. Anywhere I thought a rug should go I designed one of these floors. There are 4 in all.
Then I saw the grand staircase and I knew this house had to be mine. I put in the cantera slab steps which were originally just cement covered with a pink carpet runner!
This will complete chapter one of the house tour. Look for Marco's Mexican Adventure...The Pink House, Out Back.
