     Sometimes I have to just scratch my head and wonder about some folks children. Yes, we all like to save money and sometimes the future belongs to the efficient. Then there are times that ignorance is not bliss.    
    As most of you know by now, flexible plastic venting for clothes dryer venting has been banned for use in residential properties for many years because it is considered a fire hazard. But what’s with the duct tape? Who knows.  . . I quit trying to figure things out a long, long time ago.

And that my friends, is my 2￠’s worth for the day.

Michael TeamCHI - Complete Home Inspections, Inc. I still see the plastic all the time, including at the hardware store. Was it banned in all 50 States? If so why am I still seeing it?

I think the Consumer Protection Bureau needs to put warning signs on all their Duct Tape products regarding safety. Stupidity does cause fire and problems!

Hello Michael and this photo doesn't surprise me! There are so many people out there that think their handyman and or trying to cut corners to save money.

Problem is if a fire was to start because of the flexible plastic vent, a the damage of the home and a possible life lost would be so much more costly.
