Beautiful Beckett has a mind of her own.  Sometimes she will allow a barrette in her hair but most days she puts up a fight!  You don't want to be touching her hair or she'll shoo you away!!

Valentines Day she wore her "Be Mine Valentine" shirt as she cheered the runners participating in the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon on February 14, 2016 running close by her home in Central Austin.

Beckett adheres to the slogan "Don't Mess with Texas" with a slight variation "Don't Mess with Beckett!" Love this little girl ♥

What a 'Cutie Pie' Beckett is, Dorie Dillard!!  And love that she already knows her mind regarding her hair, that is a good sign that she will know her mind in the future and not be afraid to voice an opinion - I like that!!

She is an entity unto herself, Dorie, and refinement can come in time, while still keeping that personal character that makes one stand out in a crowd. I love it when kids/adults "own it", as it's a sign of confidence. Much like her beautiful Nanna...(is that what she calls you?)
