Atlanta Midtown - 28th Annual
STEAMHOUSE LOUNGE OYSTERFEST 2/27&28/16

Jumping Times in Midtown Atlanta for the 28th Annual Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest - the 2016 happening on Sat/Sun February 27th & 28th.

The Steamhouse Lounge is home to the ORIGINAL Oysterfest. After 20 years as a well-known Buckhead place for food and fun, the Steamhouse Lounge moved to Midtown in 2008. The restaurant's goal of providing a seriously "laid-back atmosphere" succeeds daily.

Whether you choose to sit inside - upstairs or down - or to go outside to the spacious, wrap-around balcony, you will delight in the same wonderful food! The Owners say, "Expect to find our award-winning lobster bisque, the freshest seafood, ice cold bottle beer and and our signature Goombay Smash."

What is different about the Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest weekend to an everyday visit to the restaurant? Well, lots of things will be different that weekend of February 27 & 28. First of all - live music. Second, usually a kid-friendly place to eat - the Annual Steamhouse Lounge Oysterfest is 21 & over ONLY. Third, one buys a ticket to attend!

Explanation: "2-day Advance Tickets for the Price of 1 Day!  Purchase a 2-day ticket in advance and pay only the price of a Saturday ticket - $20!  That’s 2 days of sunsoaking, live music and fresh seafood from the Louisiana Gulf Coast.  But if you can’t make it on Saturday, you don’t have to miss the show…we’ll have $10 tickets available for Sunday-only."

Sister restaurants Fontaine’s Oyster House, Highland Tap and Vickery’s Glenwood Park will be on site as well serving up more local favorites!

Lnn, I am not a big fan of oysters.  But, you had me when you mentioned  the lobster bisque soup, which I dearly love.  Sounds like a fun event amd hope you and family can attend at least one day. Excellent localism post and like how you added in the condo for sale.
