Here are some things to focus on when purchasing a luxury condo property that will help to retain the most value and give you a better ROI should you want to sell in the future.

Unobstructed Views and Natural Light
A property that has a great view of the outdoors and large enough windows or an outdoor space to enjoy will hold its value. If you find a great view condo make sure that you know the zoning allowances for the land around the building to be sure that your view will not be obstructed by more land development.

Natural light brightens and lifts the mood and is a known seller of any property. Natural light is especially valuable in condo properties because you have shared walls and limited windows.

Ceiling Height
High ceilings are a huge feature in a luxury condo because they make spaces feel much larger and they are rare. The higher the ceiling the better unless it is higher than 14 feet. Think cubic feet with luxury condos not just square footage.

Architecture
Good and interesting architecture retains its value over time. Homes built by famous architects or well known luxury builders always draw interest. Look for buildings that are popular today built with interesting yet practical architecture by someone with a great reputation. This should help you sell easily later down the road.
