Don't let anyone tell you that the market is slow.

Don't let anyone tell you that the market is slow.

My weekend has been a marathon.  Friday was a full-full day. It started at 7:30, and it went moment to moment... showing to showing... a written offer, to an accepted offer.  Multiple calls from the Interwebs or Information Super bypass... and new clients. Ending with an inspection.

Don't let anyone tell you that the market is slow.

Today (Saturday) Showings, galore.... multiple buyers... while I was sitting in the orofice, I handled a floor call for an unrepresented buyer who's looking for a multi-million dollar lakefront property.  Yes, I said unrepresented. Training an agent that negotiating an inspection doesn't count as "practicing law", ending with writing an offer, and now it's "O-Late-Thirty", and my day is just ending.

Don't let anyone tell you that the market is slow.

Tomorrow stands to be just as full a day, buyer showings, negotiating that new offer (hopefully to a happy conclusion), and setting up a new inspection culminating in another sale. And bringing a new listing to the market. I love this business.

Don't let anyone tell you that the market is slow.

Alan May I have always believed that it's not the market that dictates our activities - and thus results. It's our activities that should bring the results.

Market ups and downs come and go! It should bot be the reason for someone not to do well.

but sometimes, the market is the reason why you feel like a one-armed paper hanger.

Good morning Alan. It's funny really how despite the market (whatever it is) you can be really busy.

Top of the morning Alan.  I agree with Sheila Anderson that we all have the ability to make our own market.  Kudos to you with your successes.  Mark
