Spring is trying to take over South Central Missouri, but it hasn't succeeded just yet.
We now have green grass. It's time to dust off the mower, get that tune up and grab the ipod.
We now have blossoms and flowers. My all time favorite, the IRIS, is in bloom along with the tulips, dogwoods and apple blossoms.
What we don't have - LEAVES! Our trees are still naked! I know with all the rain we've had and the warm weather they are calling for next week, our trees with fill out before my eyes.
There is nothing like watching Spring move into the Ozarks here in South Central Missouri. This is my 8th spring here in Missouri, and I'm still like a little kid, loving the beauty, like it's my first time seeing the transformation.
Here are a few photos so you may share in welcoming Spring to our hometown.

Hi Debbie,
I love your pictures! The Iris is pretty. The picture of the cows made me laugh. The cow with her mouth open is funny. If she was a person, she'd be insisting...please don't post that one!
