Sharing Tahoe's lifestyle with friends makes this mountain town YOUR mountain town!
Just an hour before, I sat in my office with one of my real estate clients and discussed their objectives. They spoke of their dream of owning a piece of the "Lake Tahoe Lifestyle". How it would affect their children's view of the world, their relationships with one another and their overall well being. They wanted to pursue their careers AND be healthy. I was able to share with them how I had made those choices for myself and my family, as had many of my friends, clients and business associates.
We discussed which parts of town would match their needs. They asked about what really is possible here. Do people telecommute from South Lake Tahoe? What is life like in winter and summer? As a realtor in South Lake Tahoe I listen to what my clients aspire toward when searching for property here in our community. I help them find the right property in the right neighborhood. I share the ins and outs of being a local. I help them make connections with the right mechanic, show them where the ice arena is, and tell them about the best trails to ride. I share my Tahoe lifestyle with people because, after we discuss square footage, kitchen layouts and garage space, they are going to be my new neighbors.
When it comes down to it, I'm a real estate professional. I help my clients buy and sell property here in the South lake Tahoe region. I take pride in doing my job professionally and focussing on the details. However, I believe the unique aspects of living and working in a mountain resort town call for that little something extra. I have chosen to live and work in this mountain paradise, and I enjoy sharing the realities and possibilities that are available in this community.
The photo above is of myself (green jacket) and my friend Dave. We had each chosen to take our "lunch breaks" on the mountain. We ran into each other in the parking lot and took an hour to catch up, make some turns, and discuss how fortunate we are to be LIVING in Lake Tahoe. Running into an old friend in the parking lot at a world class ski resort, on your lunch break, and getting your exercise in with this view is "normal" for those of us who choose to own a piece of the Lake Tahoe Lifestyle.
I look forward to the opportunity to help you find your piece of Lake Tahoe!
Enjoy the View!
