Fort Smith Air Show in Fort Smith Arkansas

Wind Beneath My Wings? You got that one right!! The Fort Smith Air Show hit's the air May 17 & 18, 2008 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. That is also Armed Forces Weekend.

The United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the United States Army Golden Knights parachute team are the headline acts for the 2008 Fort Smith show which will also feature a wide range of civilian acts, numerous static displays and a demonstration by the 188th Fighter Wing of the Arkansas Air National Guard. This is an AMAZING SHOW to see in person!!!

There will be FREE parking and free shuttle service to the Air Show site at Fort Smith Regional Airport will be available from Southside High School, Ben Geren Regional Park and Phoenix Village Mall.

The Fort Smith Air Show is one of the largest events of its kind in the country that's FREE. Get there early because parking is limited and it will be packed!!!

Hi Ray,

This sounds like such a great event, I had no idea you had things going on like this in Ft. Smith.

I love the air show! I want so bad to be one of those pilots doing those crazy tricks! Reminds me of being a real estate agent!

I missed our air show, it was a few weeks ago. I regret not taking my kids to see them when they were little!

A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to see the US Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels. It was an experience I will remember for a lifetime.

I love air shows! We have one here every year, but I've heard that it may not return. The Blue Angels were always the highlight. How lucky folks are in your area to be able to experience such a great event!
