I feel that for the most part, many Americans take the liberties, freedoms and the opportunities that we have been given, for granted. We have been blessed with abundant natural resources, wealth and the opportunity to pursue our dreams, goals and desires; more so than any other nation on the planet.
This became so apparent to me when I had lunch with an agent that came from Columbia SA. Her tale of why she had to flee her country, the trials and tribulations she had to endure not only to stay in America, but the financial outlay to become a naturalized citizen was remarkable.
The reason I point this out is that far too many Americans squander their birthright. Is it any wonder that many immigrants succeed while natural born Americans fail?
