Next Sunday, February 28th is the night of the 88th Academy Awards (5PM Mountain Time on ABC). For most of us, it's a fun evening of watching our favorite stars walk the red carpet in glamorous gowns and stylish tuxedos. There is always a big to-do around who's hosting - this year it's Chris Rock - and how they fare compared to their predecessors. But if not for the actual films being honored, none of this would occur. Below is a list of this year's nominees for Best Picture and where you might still see them before the awards.
Bridge of Spies is playing at The Picture Show at Citadel Crossing at 8:30 each night. Tickets are only $1.75, or go on Tuesday and pay only $1.00. Mark Rylance is up for Actor in a Supporting Role. As a bonus, Joy is also playing and Jennifer Lawrence is up for Actress in a Leading Role.
