Don't plant the garden yet...

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

5...the number of seed catalog's I got today alone.

WE are 3 months before we can safely plant.

I have been getting these wish lists for 2 months.

I know we should plan and I have already done that...But Really!

I know it is a dog eat dog market for the gardener but cut out the catalog's and give me  better prices

The weather changes so quickly hear it is hard to know when to plant what.

I won't be planting until almost the end of May. I've had the catalogs coming in since before Christmas. I love looking at them, and it adds to my motivation for the spring planting.

Every single year I plant to early William Feela . Last year I waited longer than I ever have and about 75% of what I planted died before it made it into the ground. I set up my greenhouse last weekend and I found a note that last year I planted mid March... that made me cool my jets.

When it's time to plant the seeds . . . . winter would be behind us.

Good luck and success.

So many projects ahead that must be done before the first seed enters the ground, thanks for the reminder Bill.

The Spring plants are already here in our area.  My wife I'm sure will start bringing some home to plant soon.  Sigh

Some people like to dream more about the gardens.  Large gardens need more planning also but the seed companies sure do push it

We are experiencing earlier than usual blooming here in Sacramento this year.  I have pansies and poppies blooming like crazy in my yard.
