Bonita Shores

…another Mailbox in Bonita Springs

Come on! What else would I use for a title? I spotted this mailbox in Bonita Shores. If you don’t know where Bonita Shores of Bonita Springs is, it’s that small part of Bonita Springs on the Southwest corner of Vanderbilt Beach Road and Bonita Beach Road. Besides the neighborhood of Barefoot Beach, Bonita Shores is the only part of Bonita Springs that is technically in Collier County. Real estate in Bonita Springs with a Collier County tax.

I'm thinking that people in Florida just have to much time on thier hands.

Now I like my home here in Scottsdale, but I am seriously thinking about relocating to Bonita Springs just for the mailbox.

I like the box, and how kind of the owner to dull the hooks on that little anchor.

Friends of ours in New Hampshire have a mail box just like that one. They live on a lake and he is a big fisher man so it really matches them.

Our HOA makes us all have the exact same mailbox. But in neighborhoods without HOA's, all I ever see are manatee mail boxes, or the rare creative person who builds their own monstrosity, err mail box.

CE.

We bought a Gator mailbox from these folks. The kids love it!
