I love OKC real estate and I love good OKC locally owned restaurants! I highly recommend Nunu's in NW OKC in the Quail Springs District! It's locally owned which is very important to me and the food there is amazing. I love the ambience and the great and personable service.
Now guess what? They are going to be featured on CNBC!
The owners are appearing on a CNBC show named 'Restaurant Start Up' which I take it, is kind of like Shark Tank for restaurants.
Here's a brief run down on how Nunu's got started in OKC.
"Back in 2008, Janet Farhood was mulling a retirement venture and sought her son's advice.
Clayton had logged enough years and miles in the restaurant business in Indianapolis and Orlando, Fla., to know what to say when his mother asked if he thought it was a good idea for her to enter the restaurant business after decades as a health-care professional. Fast-forward to 2015, and Janet Farhood has finally retired for good. Clayton came home a couple of years after she opened to offer his expertise and partnership and now runs the place with Bradley."
Nunu's continues to grow and prosper on Memorial Road in the shadow of the St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Church, where her cooking starred for years at the congregation's annual food festival. - Newsok.com

For appetizers go for Baba Ghanouj Dip which is made of roasted eggplant, sesame tahini, lemon juice and garlic - with pita bread! Also love the Cucumber and Yogurt Salad
It's a fresh and tasty Lebanese version of Tzatziki - Made with yogurt, cucumber chunks, mint, and garlic!
Main Course? Hashwa Plate - beef, rice, and a mixture of special seasonings - cooked with clarified butter and topped with toasted almonds...believe me, the meat is not overpowering if you are trying like me to stay focused on a more plant strong meal plan.
Best Choice for Newcomers? Sampler Plate..you get the best of everything on this one. Hashwa, chicken kabob, beef kafta, cabbage roll - served with tabouli, houmos, and pita bread!
