Veterans Have Benefits, Too. Buy a House With Your VA Home Loan Benefits
There are many types of loans to buy a house. You will hear of FHA loans, conventional loans, or private money loans. These are the loans that people get when they buy a house.

But there is one kind of loan that is special. Not everyone can apply for it. It is a special type of loan because it is for VETERANS only. Only those that served are eligible to apply.
The loan itself has benefits that beat any other type of loan. It doesn't have a bunch of mortgage insurance tacked on it that costs thousands and thousands of dollars over the life of the loan. The only thing VA has is a 1.75% funding fee that is including in the loan and is waived if you are disabled.
Not everyone wants to do VA loans because they have some guidelines that the lender has to follow. It has nothing to do with you, the Veteran.
