Do you want to find cheap gas?

This is pretty nifty.  OK nifty went out way back when but, check this out.  It could save you a couple of dollars at the pump.

Just enter your zip code in the site below, and it tells you which gas stations have the cheapest prices (& the highest) on gas in your zip code area.  It's updated every evening.

Here's to saving a couple of dollars!

Don, I could certainly use this.  It cost me 65 bucks to fill the tank the other day.

Deb,

I checked it out and found a couple that were low close to me.  What a great way to not only save money but take less time getting to it.  :)

Don,

This is so useful!  Thanks.  (And how do you get your font size bigger in your posts?)  It's easier on the eyes!

Okay, I'm back, Don.  $3.28 is the cheapest, and it's at an unexpected place--a Circle K convenience store!  Thanks again!

Mike, glad I could help with the gas price.

Thanks to Cynthia Tilghman for the information on font size:

  1. Start a new post and the very first thing go down and make it a "DRAFT"
  2. Type your blog as you normally would, add title, tags, etc.  It needs to be complete other than enlarging the font or adding color font.
  3. Post blog entry
  4. Now click on "edit"
  5. Click on "HTML" tab
  6. Before the first word of your blog type <Font Size="3" face="Verdana">
  7. After the last word of your blog type </Font>
  8. This is the code that I use when I add color <Font Color="Blue" Size="3" face="Verdana">.  After the last word the code would be the same as in step #7.
  9. Change the "Draft" to public or whatever you would like but if you dont chane it from draft it will not go live.
  10. Do not go back to "WYSIWYG" OR YOU WILL LOSE WHAT YOU DID.

Try it and see.

Don, here in Blue Ridge Georgia it is easy to find out who has the cheapest gas...none they all price the gas the same. That way we all pay high prices $3.65 a gallon.

Thanks for this Don. I think that it is very interesting that the places I assumed would have the lowest priced gas were not necessarily the places that gas was actually cheapest.

Greg, My brother has the same problem in Florida.  I thought that would be price fixing.

Linda, isn't that the way it always is, just like going to Macy's & finding things cheaper than Wally World?
