Kingsbrooke Townhouse Report: Janaury 2016
It may be the end of February, but it is time to look back at what happened in the Kingsbrooke townhouse market in January. Let's see if our January blizzard had any bearing on the sales activity. As usual, we'll make comparisons to last month (December 2015) and last year (January 2015.)
TOWNHOUSES FOR SALE IN KINGSBROOKE
2 Listings were Active: Both Regular Sales
When January ended, there were two Kingsbrooke townhouses available for Bristow buyers. The high list price was up over 1% compared to last month. The low list price was up over 19.5% compared to last month. The average list price was up 4% compared to last month. There were no active listings last year, so we do not have year to year comparisons here.
TOWNHOUSES UNDER CONTRACT IN KINGSBROOKE
2 Listings were Under Contract: 1 Regular Sale, 1 Short Sale
While there were two Kingsbrooke townhouses that were under contract in January, none were under contract last month. However there were three townhouses under contract since last year. The average list price at time of contract was up nearly 6% 
and the average marketing time was 38% faster than it had been last year.
TOWNHOUSES SOLD IN KINGSBROOKE
No Listings Sold
With no sales that closed in Kingsbrooke townhouses for the month of January, there is nothing to compare to the sales that happened last month and last year. I can say, given the sparse inventory in Kingsbrooke townhouses, this would be a great time of year for a seller to hit the market.
