TUXES & TAILS is right around the corner and it’s time to reserve your table for an evening of dinning, bidding, and dancing at Honolulu’s premier PET FRIENDLY fundraiser event at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on April 16th 2016.

 

 

This year’s theme for the Hawaiian Humane Society's annual fund raising gala is Alex in Wonderland. Honorary event co-chair, Alex is the Central Pacific Banks’ canine mascot and celebrity barker and you may recognize him from the many commercials he has appeared in for Central Pacific Bank.

Hawaiian Humane Society

 

Volunteer:

Volunteers are needed at the Hawaiian Humane Society in a variety of capacities: foster care; taking their own pets to hospitals and senior centers; adoptions events; animal care; dog walking; cat socialization and more. Help is needed in every area.

 

Parent-child teams in which keiki are 8 to 14 must attend trainings and volunteer together. Children must have their parent accompany them at all times during their volunteer shift. Volunteers must be 15 or older to work independently at the shelter. They must be able to work a three-hour shift weekly for a minimum of three months.

 

Volunteers are also needed at animal welfare groups throughout Oahu.

The Royal Hawaiian Hotel looks as glorious today as the first time I saw it way back in 1978.  

Tuxes and Tails sounds like a wonderful event!

Aloha Myrl, the hotel is doing well these days and continues to be a popular venue for events. It's always worth a trip to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.
