Uptown Charlotte's St. Patrick's Day Events
Ever since I was young, St. Patrick's Day has been my favorite holiday. As a ten year old, I proudly walked my Irish Setter in the local parade and loved watching the Shriners zoom around in circles in their little cars.
Twen...irty years later, the holiday revolves more around green beer, corned beef, and cabbage but is still my favorite holiday. I love that the Charlotte St. Patrick's Day Parade and Charlotte Goes Green Festival has something for everyone, no matter their age. Families can enjoy the parade together in the morning and children can play in the "Celtic Kids Zone" built especially for them.
