Rain returned to the Inland Empire last night. I truly enjoyed being woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of raindrops hitting the roof. Let it rain... let it rain. Let me do the rain dance...
Californians had high expectations that El Nino would make a dent on the drought. However, after a dry spell for the month of February, many of those hopes started to dissipate. Don't despair...rain has returned to Southern California.
The first storm arrived around 3 am and we are expecting a second storm to hit us around 7 am on Monday. That is going to occur during the morning commute. The alert we are all receiving thru the wire is that it is going to be a heavy thunderstorm. So give yourself plenty of time to get to work. Be safe and drive defensively...
In the meantime, enjoy our balmy 60's degrees. Bundle up and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
