2016 Hilton Head Wing Fest

What is going on?

This fun event is a great way to greet spring in the lowcountry AND to benefit a good cause - the Island Recreation Association Children's Scholarship Fund.

AND By the way, if you want to make this a great weekend extravaganza come to the LASER LIGHT SHOW on Friday Night!!

Admission $6 (free for kids 10 and under)

Where can you get tickets?

You can pay for admission as well as pick up the $1 tickets for the servings of wings right at the event. (P.S. there isn't just ONE WING for $1 - each vendor is very generous so you won't walk away hungry - remember they want your vote for the BEST WINGS at the end of the day)

Where does the money go?

The Island Recreation Association has been a very strong community partner for many years. The majority of the proceeds go to the Island Rec Children's Scholarship Fund. The mission is for no child to be denied participation in the sports they love, programs to encourage them to live a happy and healthy lifestyle, in a safe environment while their parents are at work.

Hints to enjoy the Wing Fest?

1.   Come early and come hungry! For those of us who have come year after year, we know that the favorites (One Hot Mama's, Reilly's, and of course Hot Wings Cafe) sometimes run out of their creations and we all kind of head there first. There will be about 15-20 restaurants vying for your hunger so enjoy!

3.  Bring cash - always

4.  Bring your ID - they will be selling beer and wine so be prepared.

5.  Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on. There will be music by The Storks, Deaz Guys, and Ellen Drive throughout the day and it's just great to sit and enjoy the beautiful day and ambiance with friends and family!

Doesn't this sound like a great thing to do? Wouldn't you LOVE to live in a community that has these kinds of events?
