Grace Safrin of NW Indiana achieves Certified Residential Specialist Designation - 1 of Only 4 % of REALTORS Nationwide

April, 2008. Grace M. Safrin, a Valparaiso, IN resident has been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.

Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Fewer than 38,000 Realtors nationwide have earned the credential.

Home buyers and sellers can be assured that CRS Designees subscribe to the strict Realtor code of ethics, have access to the latest technology and are specialists in helping clients maximize profits and minimize costs when buying or selling a home.

Grace, congratulations! I've found that the CRS designation is the highest respected designation among other real estate professionals as well as the public. The classes were great and very educational, weren't they?

Congratulations on your achievement. I hope you get out of CRS as much or more than I have. Which is a lot. Not just from the classes but also from the leadership opportunities available.

I do love the spouses and houses theme.

Just a word in your ear. That CRS gets a bit snippy when one of a team has the designation and the other does not. ie, make sure when you use the logo it is clear it is for you, not Jeff.

But the benefits of MY application of knowledge & marketing skills learned does positively impact OUR business :) You are not the first to mention this - seems it is a common theme item in classes and with some CRS designee's. Thanks Larry - appreciate your comments...I am fortunate to be part of a high achieving team where even splitting transaction sides in half allowed to me qualify with fewer classes - the classes however, are awesome and I plan to take some just to fill bi-annual CE requirements.

Congrats to YOU Nicholas - that is awesome! I chose to pursue this designation because of the requirements needed of proven Volume of closed sales - I think that sets it apart somewhat from the others.
