One "Rung" At a Time

Some days are tough, they get us down.
Sometimes a challenge arises that seems unsurmountable.
And we get emotional. And we lose touch with our balance.

Guess what ... that is AOK!

What defines us in life is not THE challenges we face, but HOW we face them.

So you find yourself in a situation that makes you want to throw your hands up in the air or you feeling like having a good cry (it's OK) ... But what next?

Well, my beautiful AR friends, you take it ONE RUNG AT A TIME.

Below you will find a chart that outlines the "vibrational frequency"
(or we can simply say the overall sensations) of your FEELINGS.

The "highest" feelings (#1) are Joy/Knowledge/Empowerment/Freedom/Love/Apprecation.

The "lowest" feelings (#22) are
Fear/Grief/Depression/Powerlessness/Victim

EMOTIONAL GUIDANCE SCALE

How to USE This Chart:

Let's say you are feeling Fear...
accept that and know that you are where you are.

Now committ to making a change,
but know that you do NOT have to immediately jump to Joy ...

you simply have to take it ONE RUNG AT A TIME.

Consider moving through the Fear (#22) into Worry (#14), or Doubt (#13).
Once you have arrived here, consider (hopefully quickly) moving through the Worry and Doubt to the UPWARD SPIRAL where the "high feelings" live!

Now you have ARRIVED at Contentment (#7)!!!

Settle into this Contentment and feel at home here.

By using your "hapiness tools"
(going outside, calling a friend, reading a good book, etc) ,
move into hopefulness (#6), to optimisim (#5), to positive beliefs (#4),
to enthusiasm (#3), to passion (#2), to JOY (#1)!!!!

JOY! KNOWLEDGE! EMPOWERMENT! FREEDOM! LOVE! APPRECIATION!

You can use this chart, and use this practice, each and every day
(or whenever you need it) to help RAISE your Feelings
ONE RUNG AT A TIME!

Erin, I do a lot of energy work ... I am also into tapping the meridians ... It works.  We just need to take some time out and do it.  We are in control of what we choose to feel.

Absolutely - I agree, it is all about what we intend to focus on. I bet we would be great friends in person. The whale spirits are always singing to support the harmonic resonance of the crystaline grids/ley lines/meridians! I am excited to hear if you have any interactions with these creatures during your tapping-in times!

Good morning, Erin --- this is so true:

What defines us in life is not THE challenges we face, but HOW we face them

thank you! Sometimes that in itself can be a challenge, but, as they say ... keep on truckin'!

A little bit like eating the elephant one bite at a time. It can be overwhelming to try to swallow the thing whole...break it down and breathe.

GREAT analogy! Thank you for coming by.

Love this!  Thank you so much for sharing with us.  Despite the challenges life throws at me, I try to be on that upward spiral.

Hi Chris Ann! I bet you do, your shining smile always comes through (even on a computer!). Sometimes it can be a bit of a struggle but I love to have this tool to keep me on track.

Absolutely nothing wrong with feeling the less positive emotions, Erin Bates ... but you can't let them swallow you and you can't wallow in them longterm.  I like the visuals you provide here ... and the message too!

Gene, yes, I agree 100%. Sometimes I think we are so eager to get out of the "less than positive" that we do not allow ourselves to experience the contrast of it. Although, I certainly am not always very excited to sit in sadness or grief, it is necessary for short-term (like you said!). THANK YOU for stopping by.

Erin one rung at a time is a good idea! I rarely have an off day - but on occasion I many have off moments or thoughts. My practice is to go - general - think of what makes me happy and grateful and les viola - back in alignment again!

Hi Anna, on this river of flow we call life... you are the captain of the alignment ship!

I like the idea of one rung at a time.  What happens if someone triees to knock you off the ladder......   Then I guess I would spiral down to number 17!

Mar 10, 2016 05:07 AM
Erin Bates

I certainly fell on my butt when the ladder went down (many times), but I think next time around I will put my "cat-mask" on and land softly on my feet with another 8 lives to spare!

Hi Erin - Nice! Just staying positive will provide a lot of bouyancy to float upward.

I love the idea of floating upward rather than struggling to stay afloat. Beautiful. THANK YOU (and for thinking of me today)

Hi Bob! Great news, it's always wonderful to try a new tool and see if it helps make the "job" a bit easier. What DID they do before they discovered tools? HA!
