Spring Ahead
It's one of my favorite days of the year...Daylight Savings starts tonight. (ok, tomorrow, I get it). Summer is on the way, winter is behind us and I no longer have to stare at the clock willing it to be later than it is because I'm already sleepy.

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead. Yes, you lose an hour, but it's an hour of darkness so who cares!
I hate to "lose" that hour of sleep, but love it when the sun stays up longer!
Always a good reminder and hoping that someday it isn't necessary and we can keep our hour of sunshine in the morning. How is business in Lake Arrowhead? When we lived in Palm Desert, it was one of our getaway spots!
Hi...Arrowhead is still snowy. We got fresh snow this week, so everyone's a little hunkered down. Summer is busy for home sales.
Thank God! I have a small farm in Delaware and this time of year there is never enough time get fruit trees pruned, garden tilled, etc., after I finish my real estate day. Another hour or daylight after work is highly welcome!
This time change always affects Sundays first. Growing up my dad always made us late for church (at least that is what mom said) and spring time change made it worse. I do remember in the fall however being actually EARLY for church numerous times lol.
I totally hate it. I just finished adjusting to "falling back" last week. I want to leave it alone.
Hi Karen, I love this time of year, wish it stayed this way all year long.
My old horse loves "Spring Forward" as much as he dislikes "Fall Back." He expects his carrot and grain at 5 p.m. each evening, so getting dinner early is fine with him!
As for me, I wish we'd just stick with one way or the other. In the winter it's going to be dark late into the morning and dark early in the evening, no matter what. Most of us do enjoy more daylight in the summer, so why not stick with daylight savings time?

Karen, It just does not matter to me one way or another. It is what it is ... yet I do like more daylight hours.

Just an FYI, most phones automatically do it for you and you don't have to worry about your phone alarms at all.

Hi Karen - Summer is my favorite time but I think daylight savings time starts a few weeks to early. It is dark again when I get up.
