Texas Jack’s Barbeque in Arlington, Va 22201
Texas Jack’s Barbeque in Arlington opened late last year and I had heard rave reviews from friends and clients. After two wonderful experiences I decided it was time for a blog post, it’s definitely a place I’ll return to again and again.
The open floorplan in the dining room has a rustic flair while still offering plenty of light. There’s a hint of a Western theme that’s very inviting. If you prefer to head to the bar there is plenty of seating and I’m told they have a killer Happy Hour that lasts until 8pm. Texas Jack’s Barbeque offers an impressive menu; pulled pork, brisket, sausage, chicken, ribs; there’s something for every BBQ lover. If you can’t decide you can opt for one of their meat platters and sample all of them. Their sides are equally as impressive; macaroni and cheese, cornbread, smashed cucumbers, brussel sprouts, and fried potatoes are just a few of the options to choose from. If you’re a whiskey drinker you’ll also be right at home with all of their selections, probably one of the best I’ve seen in the Northern Va area.
What really stands out about Texas Jack’s Barbeque is the variety offered on their menu, from drinks, starters, entrees, and sides there’s something for everyone. I’ve never had enough room for dessert but, from what I’ve seen being carried to other tables I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in that area either.
Located at 2671 Washington Blvd Texas Jack’s is very easy to get too. They have a small parking lot that fills up quickly but, not to worry, they offer free valet. There’s also always street parking nearby.
