An exciting snow forecast for Steamboat is in effect for this week! And, market enthusiasm for Steamboat Springs real estate has exploded in past couple of weeks. From 126 pending sales on February 28th to 146 today with 33 closed transaction during the same timeframe, Steamboat real estate activity has been rocking it.

The Steamboat Pilot reported 11 closed Steamboat area real estate sales this past week for a dollar volume of $5,042,900. Of those closed sales, 1 was single family, 7 were condo/townhome sales, 1 lot/land, and 2 were commercial/industrial Steamboat Springs real estate transactions.

Coinciding with the fast paced recent Steamboat real estate activity, the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors reports 146 Steamboat area pending real estate sales today. 9% are pending with a list price over $1 million, 3% are pending between $999,999 and $800k, 16% are between $799,999 and $600,000, 23% between $599k -$400,000, 10% are pending with a list price in the $300s, and 39% are Steamboat Springs real estate pending sales with a list price below $300,000. Of the current pending Steamboat Springs area real estate sales, 36% are single family, 38% are condo/townhome, 14% are lot/land, 10% are commercial/industrial pending sales and 1% are fractional sales.
