I don't know which I like better, the fire of a Tucson sunset, or the lovely stillness of the moonrise at twilight, after the sun has disappeared in the western sky.  I took these two photos a half hour apart, the first from the parking lot at Gates Pass in the Tucson Mountains, and the second a half mile away, from Kinney Road opposite the Old Tucson Studios.  I don't know...

Very nice shots Mike.  My sister lives just west and south of Silverbell and Ina.  This is what they take for granted most evenings!  I was great to meet you Thursday, look forward to seeing you again soon.

Chuck,

God provides the show; I click the camera.  That works pretty well!

Doreen,

Your sister lives just north of the spot where I took the sunset photo.  Thanks for making the AR get-together a successful first for the group!

Georgina,

I can't wait to visit Hawaii.  It's the only state I haven't visited.

Bill & Barbara Jo,

Thanks for stopping to say so!  I appreciate the encouragement.

Michelle,

It would make a good postcard, wouldn't it?

Candace,

Thanks for coming back.  Igualmente!

Terry,

That was one of the first things we noticed when we moved here ten years ago.  No big trees.  We miss that, though.

Marti,

Thanks for commenting.  The moonrise is the more unusual shot; Arizona sunsets are legendary.

Larry,

People in Tucson complain when the humidity gets to 45%!  We came here from NJ ten years ago; the locals don't have a clue about real humid conditions!

Don,

Thank you; there's beauty to be found everywhere in God's creation.

Linda,

Thanks!  I should add a sunrise photo and make it a trio!

Cheryl,

That's a good idea; a soundtrack can be done by making a Real Estate Show with this.  Now if only we can get Jeff  Turner to do the crickets and scorpions at night music...  LOL

Susie,

That sunset does sizzle, doesn't it?  Thanks for stopping by to comment.

Jesse,

Thanks for the compliment, my friend.

Candace,

Thanks for being the first to comment. I'd be happy to trade you my camera for your new Rebel!  LOL

Wow I love these.  Thanks for taking them and sharing.  Did you use a tripod?  Just wondering if the placement was exact or not.  Thanks again.  Lovely!

Bob & Carolin,

Thanks for the encouragement!  You're welcome.

Susan,

Ditto my comment to Bob & Carolin!  Thanks for stopping by.

Sharon,

Thank you!

Karen,

No tripod used.  I used Photoshop (Photoshop Elements will do just as well) to crop each image from the original pics.

Mary,

You're a sunset person! Thanks for commenting.

Margaret,

Thank you for commenting, and for the compliment.

Joan,

It's just plain FUN!

Mike:  As I've said before (or, at least thought it!), you've got a career as a photographer should you decide to get out of the mortgage business!!  Your photos are absolutely gorgeous with vibrant colors and crystal clarity.  Thanks for sharing!

Just a minute while I Google David Muench; I haven't a clue.  Be right back.
