St George Art Festival - March 25th & 26th, 2016
The St. George Art Festival began 37 years ago to showcase artists who lived in St. 
George.
Since then it has expanded to include over 110 artists from hundreds of entries throughout the United States.
This year's festival will be held Friday, March 25th and Saturday, March 26th at the scenic Town Square Park. This lovely park features a carousel, fountains, splash pad and waterfall & river to play in, flower gardens, and historic sites. The festival has a community appeal, for both artists and the 30,000 plus annual visitors on this busy Easter weekend.

The St. George Art Festival is recognized for exceptional artwork and will be showcasing the many categories, to include watercolor, oils, pottery, sculpture, photography, and woodwork. The festival also celebrates the performing arts and will have live entertainment on two stages.
Attendees will enjoy thousands of original works of art, and a bouquet of flavorful foods offered. Families will take pleasure in the creative activities and fun children's area which is always a big hit!
If you live in St. George you know that Town Square is more than just a fabulous park. It's also known for the Downtown Thursday Night, a weekly festival held during the spring and summer. Residents and visitors will experience a fun, family atmosphere with arts and crafts displays, food vendors and live entertainment. Also, on scheduled evenings, Sunset on the Square is held at nigh fall, where residents bring their blankets and chairs to the park's amphitheater to view classic movies on the big screen.
During the holiday season, Town Square is the main location for First Night, a St. George New Year's Eve celebration. Bringing the community together, this joyful festivity provides a stage for a variety of artists, musicians, dancers, and story tellers. To welcome in the new year, residents enjoy the abundant of food vendors and the huge fireworks display.
And that's not all, The Town Square provides the location for the St. George Book Festival, where speakers and authors come together and share in discussions about literature and books, and where the community will also find books, vendors, food and musicians.
