| THE Ormond Beach Real Estate & Community Events blog. By Lisa C. Hill, "THE SMART CHOICE!" |

If you're interested in buying real estate in Ormond Beach, please allow me to say "Welcome!" I hope I can help. But for now, please allow me to provide you with some information about this fabulous city, and even Volusia county! I'm a native and would love to help you with your real estate needs.
For all you history buffs out there, here's a great way to spend your Saturday. If you're in or near Ormond Beach Florida this Saturday, April 26, 2008, you may be interested in a lecture at the Anderson-Price Memorial Building at 42 North Beach Street in Ormond Beach. The Anderson-Price Memorial Building is a piece of
history itself, built in 1916 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally, it was the Ormond Beach Woman's Club in 1891, and also served as the Ormond Library until 1965. In 2002, the building was deeded to the Ormond Beach Historical Trust, but the Woman's Club still has meetings there.
This Saturday there will be a lecture at this fantastic, historical building called "Discover Our History". I was unable to find the lecture time on any of the web sites, so if you're interested in attending the lecture, call 386-677-7005.
This beautiful building also has a museum and hosts wedding receptions, among other things. There is even a wedding chapel.
Office Hours are Tuesday - Thursday 8:30 - 1:30, Saturday 10:00 - 4:00, and closed Sunday and Monday. The Gift Shoppe is open online 24/7.

Blog on, Ms. Lisa. Don't you ever visit anyone else's sites? Just curious.
