People call or come in and ask for our foreclosure list… we don’t have one because as you can see from the stats below from RealtyTrac.com we just don’t have that many!
Just to put this in perspective we currently have 510 Homes listed in the entire Kenai Peninsula Borough. From Clam Gulch to across the Bay we have 215 Homes listed in a the Southern Kenai Peninusla which includes Ninilchik, Homer and Anchor Point.
In the 12 months we closed on 801 Homes in the Kenai Peninsula and
245 in the Southern portion of the Kenai Peninsula
The foreclosure rate is not a huge factor in our market! Good News!

According to RealtyTrac.com, a foreclosure listing service, one in every 4792 housing units in Alaska had a new foreclosure listing in February, 2016 (the most recent data available).
Anchorage Borough had the highest number of February foreclosures
(1 in every 3062 units)
Mat/Su Borough was second highest (1 in every 3737 units)
Fairbanks North Star Borough was third highest (1 in every 4161 units)
Kenai Peninsula Borough was fourth highest in February (1 in every 5083 units).
