Sherida, I wish more agents would post articles like yours. With so many people jumping into the rental game, this information will be highly coveted.

A lot of landlords don't know what they don't know. It is pretty scare out there. The worst is so many landlords that are in foreclosure and yet want to put a tenant in their property for a few months just to get some extra cash.

I have a rental property in Anne Arundel County and my dealings with the local health gestapo have been horrendous since they decided to make an example of me because I'm a realtor and because I wouldn't file complaints against my neighboring investors. Once the property is ready to rent I will hire a property manager and gladly give up whatever fee they charge just to not have to deal with the hassles of managing my own investment.
