Atlas V set to launch on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Cape Canaveral AFS

 

Florida’s "Space Coast" is living up to its name with yet another rocket launch scheduled for next week and, as always, those who live on Cocoa Beach will have prime viewing spots.

A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket is scheduled to liftoff from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. This rocket will carry supplies to the International Space Station. 

The window is only 30 minutes and opens at 11:05pm with an 80% chance of good weather.

Night launches are spectacular so you won't want to miss it. Make plans now to see history in the making!

Praful Thakkar It is such a thrill to see the space program continue to evolve since many people thought the end of the shuttle program would be the end of it. Thankfully that was not true and I love seeing the new era unfold.

Robert 'VEGAS BOB' Swetz If you can be here for the launch, it is a great photo opp, especially for someone with such serious camera skills as you possess.

Capturing it on both photo and video would be a trick since there is so little time from liftoff until the rocket disappears. But this is a late night launch that will really light up the sky and would be a perfect time to capture the moment.
