DISCIPLESHIP

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything i have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. MATHEW 28:19,20

 I think these verses sum up one of our main duties as Christians. We may not all be called to  be missionaries but  every one one us knows unsaved people in our own familes, in our neighborhoods, in our workplaces. Most of us would not feel comfortable perfoming baptisms, but if the opportunity arose and both parties were sincere I,m pretty sure the Lord would acept your efforts.Then comes the tough part, after the Lord has put someone in your path to help lead to Him, then you are responsible for teaching them and helping them learn the commandments and the way to have a good Christian walk. Too often I thin people are on fire evangelizing but then allow the new believers to slip through the cracks. We need to feed them and stand by them just as the Lord promises He will always be with us.
