Susan, I posted the details in the comments section of our blog about this feature.  It was free for u swith the new 755p's we bought but otherwise is $24.95 I believe from Palm.

Brian, I tried with sprint to get it free when I ordered my new 755p and they said they could not do it that it would be $32.00 per month.  I tried.

You didn't say who your provider is but it is an extra cost for Verizon as well.  You have to tether your phone to your laptop.  With Verizon plans you get unlimited internet access (NOT) and they figure if you tether then you are going to use more bandwidth even though you paid for unlimited access (NOT)

Gene, my provider is sprint. I have unlimited access with sprint to go on the web now.  If I tether it to the lap top will it connect to the phone?  If so where do I get the tether? 

Susan, As I'm typing this response I'm tethered to the internet right now.  We have Alltel with an unlimited internet package and that includes using it as a modem.  Cost is about $35.00 per month and that includes the supra ekey updating, e-mail, and internet.  It is fast, I have a 1323kbps download speed right now.  Better that a dial-up connection and almost as good as the DSL in our office.
