another Craigslist scam

In Jackson County Oregon, a local prankster posted a Craigslist ad saying something to the effect of " please come and take my stuff, everything must go, and its free".  The owner came home to tools missing, his horse gone, and many people loading up and leaving with his stuff.  He was able to recoup some stuff, but not everything.  Plus the aggravation and pain was not fun.  I think the police have found the guilt party, but ..... The moral of the story is maybe MLSs do actually serve a purpose besides just internet exposure.  They also provide screening and security.  This is a warning to all those people who think it is so simple to just advertise their home on the internet for sale without the use of a Realtor.

i bet the owner was a real dusch.  i don't think this would happen to a nice person, karma has a way of catching up to ya.  i have had realtors lie to me which is just like stealing.
