I just love when spring arrives in North Carolina and yearly festivals begin. The Spring Food Truck Rally in Huntersville is sure to be a fun event for the entire family. Over 20 food trucks will be in attendance and as many locals know, area food trucks serve up some of the best grub around!

After perusing many of the food truck's menus, I am especially excited to try Street Spice International. Their offerings range from middle eastern falafels on Naan bread to cajun crabcakes, mac n cheese bites, and street spice fries topped with smoke gouda cheese sauce, bacon, and a sriracha drizzle. I am drooling just reading the menus!

Food trucks in attendance will be: Moe's Original BBQ, Cuzzo's Cuisine, Street Spice International, Two Chix and a Truck, Sugar Shack Sweets, Bebo's Mac Shack, Bebo's American Bistro, Juan Taco, Ruthie's, Comfort Food On Wheels, Kona Ice, Maryland Crab, Mel's Foods, Smoke & Go, Polar Snoballs, Jive Turkey Legs, Taste & See, and All Star Cafe.

Besides a plethora of food options, there will also be cornhole, music, hayrides around the property, and classes to learn how to cook over an open flame at the historic Rural Retreat Cabin. For those who want to walk off some of the calories, there is a 2.5 mile hiking trail around the park.

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed, but you can bring pop up tents, blankets, umbrellas, and folding chairs to enjoy a leisurely day in the great outdoors. No meal would be complete without tasty beverages, so there will also be NC craft beer and wine available for purchase to those 21+ attendees.
