If only the old houses could talk.
I be the tales it could tell.
Tales of hardship
love
family
friends
and so much more.
But for now it is just an old house to be torn down. If it is lucky, some of the siding will go for some old home that needs just some repair.
Yes, if only it could talk.
That is so sad William Feela this was someone's "Dream Home" once and now it just dreams of being saved.

Good morning William. I think of that often when I see abandoned homes or one that has been foreclosed on. So many dreams, so far removed.

We do not see many of those older homes in our area. Long ago torn down for development
Good morning William. I think about this too when I see buildings like this. I enjoy a new show called barn builders that does re-use the materials like these.
William I remember seeing old homes like this is the middle of nowhere in MN and always wondered who lived there and what life was like back them. I saw them in the backcountry of CO as well.....always interesting stories.
Always sad to see these old homes and farms melt away, I always wonder what happened to the families who lived there too.
