Hi Everyone, I just wanted to show an example of an advertisement with a good call to action. When I do advertisements for my real estate clients, I tell them they have two options; Option 1 - a branding ad which is basically an agent's pic, a house and a phone number. I'm surprised if those get a call; Option 2 - a call to action. Give a way something - free foreclosure list, $1000 credit at closing, free DVD (very cheap to produce a DVD), but offer something. This campaign here is getting a solid response from what I've heard. Check out the campaign below.

7 Comments on How Should Real Estate Agents Advertise? Have a call to action!

Hey please send me the free DVD - I want to buy a lot!  ... just kidding - but I like the ad.

Actually you should get a copy of the DVD.  I always check out an advertiser's free kit to get an idea what they are doing and what the cost is for the item they are giving away.   If you go to www.discmakers.com you will see how cheap a DVD package can be and it's really an effective tool because you have an address of a buyer.

Chadd your advertisement looks very good.  Thats a good looking call to action.  How are you using it??  On a website or just here on your blog??  Did that discmakers.com make the DVD for you??

This is an acutal ad placed by Costa Marketing Group, not me.  I just stumbled across this ad and I do the same type of thing for print ads I design.  I am not sure who manufcatured their discs on this particular ad, however, in other campaigns I have done I have used discmakers.

Really good looking ad:  and you're right - there should ALWAYS be a call to action or the ad falls flat...
