While taking the Broker Responsibility MCE last Monday, I had the good fortune to sit next to a Broker from Pilot Point. We started talking about business and the areas in which we work. Penny came from Pilot Point and she was the one who encouraged me to visit the Pilot Point Tulip Farm which I recently wrote about called Pilot Point Tulip Farm - Proof Dreams Come True!.
Penny shared some interesting points of interest, including the Magnolia Station Cafe. Instantly, I was intrigued by the name. However, Penny warned me, the place doesn't look like anything you'd expect but the food is the best in Pilot Point and within its surrounding areas. When she described it, I imagined an old building, formerly a gas station. That didn't bother me. But finding it on the Square was a challenge. Finally, after several times driving around the small square and through the neighborhoods, my friend and I arrived at our destination. Let me introduce you to The Magnolia Station Cafe!
My friend and I got there early for lunch and I have to confess, I wasn't quite sure I wanted to order some food. We studied the menu and then lots of people started to arrive. We offered to let the lady that came after us, order first. But, I asked her if she ever ate here before and she said, "Yes!" It's the best food around, so we ordered. We both enjoyed our lunch on the "Patio Dining." I sat in front of the old gas pump and the food was truly delicious! No if, bugs, or buts about it! The food was excellent! It has been two days since I ate there and now I'm craving the sweet potato fries and the best chicken sandwich I think I ever had! It may not look like anything remotely close to any restaurant I've ever eaten at before, but I give the Magnolia Station five stars for excellence!
