Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
Debbie Reynolds commented that she was making a list of places to visit when she attends the May NAR meetings in Washington, DC. I decided to blog about some the options if you plan to visit the area for business or pleasure.
If you would like to tour the largest Roman Catholic church in North America, you will want to visit the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at 400 North Michigan Avenue, NE, in Washington, DC. Click on the link for their website and an online tour.
The National Shrine attracts about a million visitors each year, is open every day and has free parking.
