A Wise Real Estate Attorney Once Told Us.....

By
Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

A  wise real estate attorney once told us that as long as all parties are in agreement and wanting the transaction to move forward.....a tangle of timetables...missing a day due to unforeseen circumstances....does not void the contract.

calendar Key words..."as long as all parties are in agreement."  There can be reasons...the Emergency Room trip...not planned. The illness or unexpected trip.

While we can say that anyone can use digital signatures and at this time in the evolution of technology...there is almost NO excuse for not returning documents signed by the times that are given in the contract...now and then, life gets in the way...and there are circumstances beyond anyone's control.

You can be the agent who rolls with it...and explains to your Buyers or Sellers...that "life DID get in the way"....things happen....and things will move ahead.  OR you can choose to send emails, make phone calls, call everyone on the planet to make sure that your point is made...and that you knPlan Bow what the "correct" timing is....and expect it to be followed. There is almost always...a Plan B.....Getting everyone's blood pressure

rising....Moving to the "attack" rather  than cooperate mode...is probably not the best solution.

    "When all parties cooperate...."

have sweeter words ever been spoken in a transaction?

If you are looking for your next "happily ever after"...Realtors with a Plan B...or as many letters as it takes...the professionalism and patience to create all the best in real estate in southeastern Wisconsin...Call the Hansons, we are honored to be of service.

We had a judge tell us as long as there was a "meeting of the minds" and all were in agreement, yes it is a contract (and we won) BTW. I dont get why agents cant get contracts signed in a quick manner and get them back Sally K. & David L. Hanson

That's the key phrase right there: "When all parties agree". That can be difficult in itself but that's part of our job to bring everyone together.
