Help...with Mobile Home Financing...

Hi Active Rain Family...

Need your help desperately.  I have a strong buyer who wants to buy a Manufactured home on 5Acres of land and I am having a hard time getting a lender to loan him the money. 

 

Do you have any experience in a situation like this?.  He is a young, first time buyer who is a very hard worker and can certainly make the payment.

 

BBandT are a possibility but I have also heard of a USAA.  I do not have any knowledge of it.

Ginger, I dealt with mobile or manufactured homes in Florida, but not much here in Virginia.  In my experience, most lenders are very hesitant to lend money on mobile homes or manufactured homes unless they meet very strict guidelines.  Good luck!

Manufactured and mobile homes can often create more challenges for financing.  What I have done in the past, is to contact those who manufacture them, for guidance with financing.  They usually have a pulse on that topic.
