Dandelions in Kentlands 

 

Many see dandelions as pesky weeds in their lawns and gardens.  We grumble, dig them up and toss them in the trash.  At this time of the year, we seem to have a surplus of dandelions in Kentlands, in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

My suggestion for you is to take photographs of the dandelions before you destroy them.  We might as well enjoy the beauty that nature has provided for most of our lawns.  Take a closer look at you own dandelions.  You might want to hang one of the photographs in your home.

Take some good pictures and have a wonderful weekend.  Share your dandelion photographs!

Hi Roy, with only 2 more days of snow showers, the tempurature is suppose to get out of te 30s.  Maybe we will see some of those dandelions in May.

Dandelions are beautiful Roy Kelley but you are right, my husband grumbles about them every time one appears in our yard.

Up close the flower itself looks very pretty and I have taken a few photos of them. These little guys really upset my husband and he gets out the weed controller and goes on a mission. So I have to be quick if I have any chance of a good shot.

I've been so angry with the dandelions that I hadn't thought to photograph them. I make it part of my morning chores to go out and pick those little blossoms and toss them as you say.
