Southern Utah April 2016 will have many events and attractions to enjoy all month long. Now that spring is officially here, Southern Utah April 2016 will become alive with outdoor community activities for all local communities to take advantage of. Therefore, I have found several events and attractions for Southern Utah April 2016 to share. Enjoy these great events while they are here. All these events are all family friendly, which is why Southern Utah is so popular among those looking to buy a home in a family friendly community.

47^th Annual Horse Race – If you and your family love the beauty and grace of horses, this event is perfect to see just how beautiful and powerful they really are. The skilled jockeys help to create amazing and exciting races for the onlookers as they bring the horses around the track again and again.

The race will be held at the Washington County Fair Grounds where you will find well stocked restrooms and fully equipped snack bars. The St. George Lions Club will also be there serving hot dogs and hamburgers. Best of all, the proceeds from this event will go directly back into the community to help the community grow.

Professional Bull Riders – The Professional Bull Riders will soon be in Tuacahn, so get ready to buckle up. This is a full bull riding event. There will be no barrel chasing or calf roping at this event. The main rule…stay alive. This will be an exciting event to say the least. Since 1992, this group of bull riders has made bull riding a sport of quality entertainment.

Each year this event draws over 1.5 million spectators for the excitement. It’s an extreme, fierce, grueling and rough sport with deep American roots.

Mud Run – This fun event brings a challenging course for anyone who want to try a mud run. There will be many local Ninja Warriors participating in the event and there will be a mini Ninja course for kids. Three levels offer different challenges. Level 1 is for beginners, level 2 is intermediate and level 3 is for Elite Teams. Level 1 and level 2 will have 10 obstacles. Level 3 will have 12 obstacles.

There will be awards for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place overall finishers. Elite Teams are for teams of 10 or more members. So, bring your family and friends to make up your team. Other awards will be given for log run, mud swing, climb wall, mud crawl, cold swim, tire run, cargo net, log jump, hay stack climb and balance pegs. This event benefits Vesting America’s Police K9’s. So far, the charity has vested 15 K9’s. They are dedicated to providing bullet proof vests for K9 officers all across Utah.
